TERMS OF SERVICE
NexSight Security (NSS)

Welcome to NexSight Security (“NexSight Security,” “NSS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, requesting services, purchasing products, or using any services provided by NexSight Security, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

  1. SERVICES PROVIDED

NexSight Security provides services including but not limited to:

  • Security camera installation
  • Existing system upgrades
  • System troubleshooting & repair
  • Remote support services
  • Commercial and residential surveillance solutions
  • Government and school security solutions under NDA agreements
  • Ready-to-install surveillance kits shipped across the United States
  • Network and surveillance equipment configuration
  • Cable management and structured cabling
  • Full network rack setup and organization
  • Network switch installation and configuration
  • Wireless antenna installation and point-to-point systems
  • Access point installation and WiFi deployment
  • Network troubleshooting and optimization

Services may vary depending on location, equipment availability, and project scope.

  1. ESTIMATES & QUOTES

All quotes provided by NexSight Security are estimates based on the information available at the time.

Final pricing may change due to:

  • Additional labor requirements
  • Structural or wiring complications
  • Equipment availability
  • Customer-requested changes
  • Permit or compliance requirements

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  1. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
  • A deposit may be required before work begins.
  • Remaining balances are due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Government, school, and commercial projects may qualify for invoicing terms upon approval.
  • Late payments may result in service interruption, delayed support, or additional fees.

Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit cards, ACH transfers, financing providers, or other approved methods.

  1. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing access to the property
  • Ensuring legal authorization for installation
  • Disclosing any known electrical or network issues
  • Providing stable internet service when remote viewing is requested

NexSight Security is not responsible for:

  • Existing faulty wiring
  • ISP outages
  • Third-party software failures
  • Power interruptions
  • Customer-owned equipment failures unless specifically covered under warranty
  1. NETWORKING & REMOTE ACCESS

Many surveillance systems require internet access and networking equipment.

NexSight Security cannot guarantee:

  • Continuous remote access
  • Internet uptime
  • Third-party cloud service availability
  • Compatibility with all customer networks

Customers are responsible for maintaining secure passwords and network credentials.

  1. WARRANTY

LABOR WARRANTY

NexSight Security provides a limited workmanship warranty on installations unless otherwise stated in writing.

EQUIPMENT WARRANTY

Equipment warranties are subject to manufacturer terms and conditions.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage
  • Water damage
  • Lightning or power surges
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Vandalism
  • Customer misuse
  • Damage caused by third-party contractors
  1. REMOTE SUPPORT

Remote support services may require temporary access to customer systems or devices.

By requesting remote support, you authorize NexSight Security to remotely access the requested equipment for troubleshooting purposes.

Customers remain responsible for backing up important data before remote support sessions.

  1. MONITORING & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

If monitoring or cloud services are provided through third-party platforms:

  • NexSight Security is not liable for outages or failures from third-party providers.
  • Subscription services may require recurring payments.
  • Features may change without notice from the provider.
  1. GOVERNMENT & SCHOOL PROJECTS

Some projects may require:

  • NDA agreements
  • Background checks
  • Restricted documentation handling
  • Compliance with local, state, or federal requirements

NexSight Security reserves the right to refuse projects that cannot legally or safely be completed.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

NexSight Security is not liable for:

  • Theft
  • Property damage
  • Loss of footage
  • Missed recordings
  • Criminal activity
  • Network breaches
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Security systems and network systems reduce risk but do not guarantee prevention of incidents, outages, breaches, or equipment failures.

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided.

  1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers agree not to:

  • Use systems unlawfully
  • Record in areas prohibited by law
  • Tamper with installed systems
  • Share unauthorized access credentials

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with local surveillance and privacy laws.

  1. RETURNS & SPECIAL ORDERS
  • Special-order equipment may be non-refundable.
  • Opened or used equipment may be subject to restocking fees.
  • Returns must be approved before shipment or drop-off.
  1. SHIPPING FOR READY KITS

Ready-to-install kits shipped by NexSight Security may require:

  • Customer self-installation
  • Internet/network setup
  • Basic technical understanding

Phone or remote assistance may be available depending on package purchased.

Shipping delays caused by carriers are outside NexSight Security’s control.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, graphics, branding, logos, and materials are property of NexSight Security unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

  1. PRIVACY

Information submitted through forms, quote requests, or support requests is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

  1. CHANGES TO TERMS

NexSight Security may update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.

Updated terms become effective upon posting to the website.
